1:30am rolls around and I hear Ace sobbing and crying for me via his baby monitor
So in my sleep stupor I stumble in his room and rock him for a good 5-10 minutes (I think he may have had a bad dream or something)
Lay him back down, stumble back to bed and fall back into my coma
Cue Ace on the monitor "mooom mom mommmmy"
::Sigh::
Take 2!
I get in his room and I am trying to talk Ace into laying down and letting me rub him back instead of rocking him in his glider again
The conversation goes something like this..
Ace - "Baby!" (he says Baby when he wants me to rock him like a baby)
Me - "No, just roll over and let Mommy rub your back"
Ace - "No, Baby!"
Me - "No, Mommy already rocked you like a baby, I have to get up and work in the morning so just let me rub your back"
Ace - "Nooo" ::initiates vulcan death grip on my arm so I can't leave::
Me - "Well, scoot over and let Mommy lay with you for a while, okay?"
Ace - "Yah!"
Muscles walks up behind me and literally almost made me drop a load on the ground! He freaking scared the crap out of me!
He's like what's the matter? I'm like I dunno, I'm gonna lay with him for a while. He's like I'll lay with him you go back to bed, just wake me up when my alarm goes off at 4am
Umm.. OK! haha
Fast forward a few hours later & I hear his phone going off
I roll over to shut the alarm off only to realize he's actually getting a phone call instead, so I look at the time. 5AM! FIVE AM! Holy CRAP! What happened to the alarm for 4 am?
So I RUN into Ace's room where Ace & Muscles are sound asleep in his crib and I wake Muscles and tell him I must have slept through his alarm and it's 5 o'clock! He's irritated but takes it well, just calls in "sick" (he has to drive 2 hours to his job site right now). In his defense, he was sick that I overslept and he didn't sleep any good considering my son is apparently a professional kickboxer in his sleep, and they say lack of sleep is a "sickness" =)
..I won't tell if you won't tell ;) lol
Plus I'm sure he's liking having the day off and spending with with Ace ♥

OMG!!! He is actually in the crib. That's priceless to say the least. Frame that :)-
